Langdorf

The resort of Langdorf, 650 – 1,000 meters above sea level, offers plenty of variety for winter and summer holidays. The many kilometres of well marked paths, also suitable for winter walks, as well as Nordic walking trails provide inspiration for getting right away from daily life into untouched nature. Our new 20 meter high look-out tower on the  „Schönecker Riegel“ provides a breathtaking circular view of the mountain ranges of the Bavarian Forest.

Cross country trails, toboggan runs and curling rinks are all available in the village. Chair and drag lifts are available close by for alpine skiers. The nearby cross country skiing centres „Am Bretterschachten“ and „Schöneck“ provide  everything cross country enthusiasts could possibly wish for. Ski schools, snow shoe and torchlight walks complete the range of winter activities available.
Guests can enjoy pure nature, well away from noise and pollution, at any time of year. The community has chosen the adder as its mascot, as they want to help this threatened protected species and have already created natural habitats and refuges for it.
